Nettle Tallow

Deeply earthy and quietly powerful, Nettle Tallow is a celebration of humble, hardworking herbs.

Made with nettle-infused olive oil and brewed nettle leaf tea, this bar honours the long tradition of using nettle in skin and hair care. Rich in minerals and known in folk practice as a strengthening botanical, nettle brings both story and substance to this formulation.

Grass-fed beef tallow forms the creamy backbone of the bar, creating a dense, conditioning lather. Coconut oil adds cleansing bubbles, while shea butter and castor oil give silkiness and stability. French green clay enhances the natural earthy tone and adds a gentle detoxifying feel.

The colour is a soft, herbaceous green, naturally speckled with fine nettle powder and finished with whole nettle leaves on top for a rustic, apothecary look.

The scent is green and grounding. Fresh lemongrass lifts the blend with bright herbal citrus, clary sage adds an earthy floral note, and cedarwood atlas anchors everything in warm, woody depth.

A beautiful choice for those who love herbal bars with a true earth connection.

Available as a 110g bar.

Wildly Unique, Just Like You:
At Wild Folk Soap Co., we embrace the beauty of imperfection. Our soaps are crafted by hand in small batches using natural ingredients, so no two bars are ever quite the same. Variations in colour, shape, or scent may occur—but that’s the charm of wild, handmade goodness.

A Note on Allergies & Our Kitchen:
We make all of our soaps by hand in our home kitchen, where we also use ingredients like nuts, oats, honey, dairy, and other natural botanicals. While we take great care, we can't completely rule out the chance of trace amounts making their way into your bar. If you have allergies or sensitive skin, please test a small area first and reach out if you have questions about any ingredients.

Caring for Your Soap
To help your handmade soap last longer, store it on a well-draining dish and keep it as dry as possible between uses. For best results, keep unused bars in a cool, dry spot out of direct sunlight to help preserve their natural colours and scent.

Avoid contact with eyes, and rinse with water if needed. If you are prone to allergies or have sensitive skin, we recommend patch testing prior to use.
